The story follows Kanato, a Filipino man who moved to Japan to ironically flee the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. He plans to save up more money to support his family back home, but plans change as Japan is hit with two nuclear bombs. Luckily, he meets a strange mortician who introduces him to the lucrative world of spirit bounty hunting.
